Nightly Reading:

Students should read for 20 minutes each night. Students can read to a family member, they can read to their toys, or even a family pet. If your child would like you to read to them, that can count for their nightly reading as well. When you read to your child or when you take turns reading, they are hearing fluent reading and they are able to practice following along. I want reading to be fun! Reading is an opportunity for quality time spent between you and your child.
